A VERY MEANINGFUL CHRISTMAS!

Our family’s celebration of Christmas past may yet to be considered good if not had been better. Preparations were made-foods, drinks and even presents.
Christmas this year was awfully spent in the odd ways as far as state-of-the-mind-financial problem is concerned and it truly was.  We spent Christmas and New Year in the hospital..

The old house we bought and stayed for 20 years had low ceilings and floors. This made the sala filled with water during rainy days. An uncle was called up for help and pledged. Rebuilt the house and when payment had to be made for the construction materials, then he felt sorry that the help would not come.
Tuition fees and other financial assistance were called up for cash through credit cards and were paid religiously until such time that building materials were also lined up for payment alongside. That was when family’s salaries would not suffice the payments. Late payments, interests, late charges, charges on capital and charges on interest accumulated.
Land title was loaned for a private recruiting agency referred by a friend for Macau with my male nurse son, and later found out it was fake that this friend of ours vanished from view citing that charges against another member of INC would not be possible and the transaction went to a puff.
My mother in law was diagnosed with ovarian newgrowth, we spent 20 days in the hospital, ecg, citiscan with contrast, 2d echo, ultrasound, parasynthesis, thoracostomy,  exploratory laparatomy, abdominal adhesiolysis (I do not know the right term, sorry), medical clearances were made, she has ascitis, cardio-pulmonary clearance, and lo, undergone TOTAL ABDOMINAL HYSTERECTOMY BILATERAL SALPHINGO OOPHERECTOMY!!! (HUH)
She is now in our home sweet home and recovering!
A gloomy Christmas? Maybe. Rather would I say, A VERY MEANINGFUL CHRISTMAS.
We are now indebted and poorer by half-a-million pesos but a million richer because we have our family, our three children who helped us in their own little way, relatives and friends who helped us financially, the priceless gift we have received from above this Christmas season!
